After Manning Brady and Vick Comes a new Era
Rivers, Rodgers and Ryan.
Each QB in the old era did something amazing. This era already has. Before there was Manning there was Drew Bledsoe. Before there was Tom Brady there was Kurt Warner. Before Vick There was Brett Favre. Now there is Rivers ,Ryan and Rodgers. Each QB in the last Generation is Notable and Dominate. Brady Is 34 years old but has won Three rings. Manning set the pace for brady by nearly breaking records. But manning is 35 and recovering from neck surgery. Michael Vick is Dominate but old and Injury prone. Vick is 32 years old and his legs will start breaking down soon. Vick set fantasy records and Carried many fantasy teams to championships after a multi year Hiatus. The new Era has come. Aaron Rodgers is 27 years old and is coming off a amazing super bowl season. Rivers was the best QB last year and is 28 and Has the perfect surroundings to be good for 3 to 5 years. Meanwhile the 25 year old Matt Ryan has gone nearly perfect 18-1 at home throughout his career. These three QB`s have shown significant signs of potential to be like Manning Vick and Brady before them.
Dan Uggla`s Streak
Dan Uggla Has struggled this year batting as low as .159 and now is in contention to break joe DiMaggio`s record of consecutive hits. He has a hit in his last 33 games. All he is 56 total games in a row with a hit. This power hitting second baseman is a career .259 batter with plenty of power. Why is he batting so well the world may Never Know. Any way Uggla is proving his worth to the Braves. Top three Second Basemen Sounds good. As you likely know joe Dimmagio Is a Hall of famer and a legend uggle has a chance to engrave his spot in the hall. But sadley as a typed this Matt Garza held hium to 0-4 and that’s how the streak ends.
The Clippers Curse
The Curse of the clippers is now Apparent. This curse has history that dates back 40 years. The clippers Had bill Walton and he only scored 10 points per game and struggled with injuries. Then in 1984 shipped Walton away for Cedric Maxwell. Maxwell Played in a career low 35 games meanwhile Walton won Sixth man of the year. Then In 1988 they used the first pick to draft Danny Manning who then was severely Injured. Manning only played 26 games that season. Though he played well for them for five years he was more of a third star or second tier player than a first pick. In 2007 they signed Golden Sate Star Baron Davis and he had his worst year and only played in 63 games. Then in 2009 they had another first overall pick by the Name of Blake Griffin. Yeah he missed his rookie year with a broken knee cap. Then in 2011 All-star Chris Kaman Severely sprained his ankle and averaged 6.8 points a game through the first half. They traded away Baron Davis and a first Round pick for Mo Williams and Jamiro Moon. Moon played well for one game and Williams worked well with Blake Griffin. And to finish this year of horror Up coming star Eric Gordon Broke his wrist. Oh that first round pick they traded away turned out to be the first overall pick.
Plaxico Burress Back
Plaxico is back. He was a star wide out until he shot himself and illegally used a gun. That cost him two years. Before that he was a str and superbowl hero. He was really just a average p[layer until he joined the giants and had a career year in 2007 and helped them win a superbowl. Buress served his time and nbow is playing with mark sanchez of the jets. He will miss the preseason opener this year due to a sprained ankle.
