Top RB Rankings

(By George)

1. Darren McFadden HB Raiders Darren Has the most yards (468), Is healthy and has three TD’s which is 6th most among RB`s.

2. Maurice-Jones Drew HB Jaguars Drew is 2nd in yards and has a TD. He also is healthy.

3. Fred Jackson HB Bills In the Middle of his breakout season Fred already has 4 TD’s which is 2nd most and is forth in yards.

4. Matt Forte HB Bears He is the only RB to get into both the top 25 in Rushing Yards( 7th ) and Receiving Yards ( 19th).

5. Beanie Wells HB Cardinals Wells is playing well he has produced A RB lead of 5 TD’s thus far and is at 321 yards Rushing.

6. Adrian Peterson HB Vikings Of the Big three ( Foster, Johnson, Peterson) only Peterson cracked the top ten. He has 376 yards and 3 TD’s

7. Lesean McCoy HB Eagles Is in both the top ten ( RB’s only) in TD’s and Yards. He has 4 TD’s and 363 yards which are 4th and 5th respectively.

8. Michael Turner HB Falcons Turner is fast and has a good blocker as a FB in Sneeling but he only has 304 yards thus far combined with 3 TD’s.

9. Cedric Benson HB Bengals has the yards but not the TD’s. His 348 yards are top 10 this year.

10. Ray Rice HB Ravens Started out as the best RB but cooled off he now has just 297 yards and 2 TD’s.

11. Lagarrete Blount HB Buccaneers Blount is almost a star and has a whopping 294/3/67 line this far. He is a top 10 RB if you don’t care about TD’s.

12.Frank Gore HB 49ers Gore is a slight disappointment but still has a 275/2/74 line this year.

13. Willis McGahee HB Broncos Willis is having a comeback. Moreno is playing so bad that McGahee has almost reached 70 Carries. Last year he had 99 rushes all year. He is top ten in rush attempts and is top 25 in yards.

14. Ben-Jarvis Green Ellis HB Patriots Ellis isn’t here for yards or carries but has 3 TD’s and slightly over 190 yards.

15. Peyton Hillis FB Browns Is having a bad year after a great 2011 he has reached 297 yards and has 2 touch downs. If your league counts him as a FB than he is one of the best FB’s in the L.

16. Ryan Matthews HB Chargers Mathews is really having a good year. He has a 288/3/61 line so far.

17.Ben Tate HB Texans Has been productive as a fill in but since he is being benched for Foster he is rated much lower than I would like. He has a good 321/1/68 line so far.

18. Chris Johnson HB Titans If there was one disappointment this year it was the Steelers D if there was two it was C.J. He has 0 TD’s and only 1 100 yard game.

19. Tim Hightower HB Redskins He has been okay his line looks better than it really is, 233/1/67.

20. Ahamed Bradshaw HB Giants He was suppose to be a player who would get every carry but then Jacobs came in and Bradshaw now looks like a borderline 1-2 fantasy receiver like he should. His line is good, 228/2/55 line.

21. Felix Jones HB Cowboys he is a RB who has both Catch yards (89) and rush yards (241) and still provide other stats. His carries (56) seem low and he only has 1 TD. Jones also ranks 20th and 16th in both carries and Rushing yards.

22. Steven Jackson His stats would be so much better if he hadn’t hurt his quad. He still has a solid 124/23/1 line but played less than half of there snaps this year.

23.James Starks HB Packers He has the stats but is sharing time with Ryan Grant. He line is 101/0/29. He is talented and when he plays he plays well.

24. Brandon Jacobs FB Giants A FB who gets TD’s( 2) and his yards are high for a FB with 119 yards rushing and 59 yards Receiving. He has all of this in just 38 carries. Please note he has a MCL sprain.

25. Mike Tolbert FB Chargers Tolbert is here because he does three things, Plays FB/HB, has a couple TD’s and has some yards, 90.

Biggest Disappointments.

1. Chris Johnson …………… Should be number 1 on the other list.

2. Arian Foster Hammy probs have cost him 3 games and likely over 150 yards. He could be number 5 by the end of the year.

3. Rashard Mendenhall His hamstring saved him from disappointing us more. He has just 173 yards when people expected him to have 275 yards at least by now. He is a borderline 2nd RB.

4. DeAngelo Williams Signed a mega contract and caused Peterson and Johnson to want Payment. He has just 143 yards in 4 games. At least he is healthy.

5. Reggie Bush Had a good pre-season but has less than 120 yards and has no rushing TD’s. But at least he is playing. To bad he was a george-Fav.

6. Ryan Grant Grant has okay stats but is sharing duties with Starks.
