Breaking News (Lakers, CP3 and Gasol TRADE) and F/A

Please Note Nothing is official until 12:00 December 9th but i will be unable to type until sometime sunday at the earliest.

The Lakers, Rockets and Hornets  have completed a 3 team deal that involves Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom, Chris Paul, Luis Scola and Kevin Martin.  The deal sends Pau Gasol to the Rockets (who have NO center under contract) who send Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic and Scola to the Hornets.  The Hornets then turn around and send CP3 or Chris Paul to LAL.  The Lakers also trade Lamar Odom to NO (New Orleans).    This deal means that the Hornets (NBA Owned)  are beging to rebuild as Scola, Odom and Martin are class 4 stars.  In my classes CP3 is a code 1 star, Gasol is a 3rd level star and Dragic is a role player.  In other NBA News, Shannon Brown WILL sign with the Suns, Caron Butler will go to the Clippers as a starting SF, Jammal Tinsley will backup Devin Harris in Utah, Nene will re sign with  the Nuggets, Both Josh Howard and Shane Battier are drawing intrest from plenty of teams but it appears that Battier will play for the heat in the form of a defensive stopper and Howard  could end up anywhere.  Tyson Chandler will sign ewith NY but they would have to waive Billups.  If they waive Billups than he will go play for the heat.  The Cavs Will waive Baron Davis with the Amnesty clause to make room for Ramon Sessions.  Pacer F/A Mike Dunleavy will sign with the Bucks,   The Mavs "don't plan to re-sign me or Chanlder (tyson)" says Dallas Point guard J.J Barea.  Barea starred in the playoffs and is rather youthful so this is surprizing.  He says that they will not offer multi year deals to them.  Tayshaun prince will re-sign with detriot but i find this surprizing because Jerebko is younger and more veritale.  They also re-signed Jerebko.  The Orlando Magic had Larry Hughes attend workouts,  this means that he is trying to make a come back in the NBA as a sharp shooting SG.  Another NBA comeback player is Nachbar.  He has played well for a few teams but hasent played for a few years.  He will likley saign with a aging team.  The Timberwolves and Kings both want chuck Hayes and he says it's "50-50" .   The Miami Heat are looking at all options including Eddy Curry (out of shape, C), Chauncey Billups (if waived, PG), Shane Battier (Defensive stopper, SF), Shannon Brown (I think he will be a Sun, SG), Caron Butler (to high cost, SG/SF), Smauel Dalembert (to high cost, C).  In other NBA News the Hawks are trying to sign Jason Collins (C), Earl Watson (PG) and Tracy McGrady.  T-Mac was a star years ago but injuries ahve stalled his career.  The Spurs think that T.J Ford Could replace the traded George Hill and the intrest is mutal.  The Lakers have showen intrest in CP3, DH12 (Dwight Howard), Delonte West, Shannon Brown, Jason Kapono, but only Kapono and CP3 are on thier roster.  Well Kapono is a F/A but will sign with them.  Kap is a shooter but is coming off a bad year.  The Boston Celtics are targeting Marquis Daniels, Glen Davis, Delonte West, CP3, DH12, Jeff Green and Keyon Dooling.  Daniels is a SG/SF with a above average defensive ability  while Dooling is a shooter who is about 28 years old.  Davis is being targeted by the pistons but i have a feeling he will re-sign.  Delonte West is a good guard who i like (a rare Al Fav) and is being targeted by the Lakers.  CP3 is Chris Paul, a good all aound PG, but is injury prone.  DH12 is Dwight Howard,  he could land in Boston but the Lakers might snag him for Bynum.  If that happens there starters would be CP3, Kobe, Meta world peace (Ron Artest), Oakafor (If he is included in the CP3 trade) and Howard but without the Bynum trade Bynum starts.    The Celtics might trade Rondo and Green to get Howard but i think that the age of super teams has begun, the age of drafting is over.  Meaning that teams will build upon a star and lure 3 stars there.
