Today the Hornets (NBA owned) traded Chris Paul for Eric Gordon, Kaman, Amuni and 2 second rd picks.
CP3 is a injury prone star who seemed unstoppable until a 2009 injury, but remains a top PG.. Gordon is a young star who can score 3's and hit j's. Gordon is also 3 years younger than Paul , but both have a extensive injury. Kaman is a former star C who struggled with injuries and Jordan (Back up center) . Aminu is a SF/PF who was a mid first RD pick last season, He has shown plenty of promise.
Meanwhile Paul will join the already vast LAC PG situation with former All stars Chauncey Billups and Mo Williams. Billups was picked up when the Knicks waived him to pick up Tyson Chandler. Mo was aquired in a trade for Baron Davis (waived F/A) and a first round pick (Kyrie Irving number1#), he was a all star in 2009. The Clippers scoring order likely stands at Griffen, Paul, Butler, Williams, Billups and Jordan. I suspect Williams to start at the 2 (SG) and Billups to be the sixth man on a clippers bench that includes Ryan Gomes (SF), Eric Bledsoe (PG), Randy Foye (SG) and Brain Cook (PF). some other rumors have Billups starting at SG and Mo backing up CP3.
The Hornets will start a line up that features Jarett Jack (13 points, 4.1 assists as Indiana starter 2 years ago) Eric Gordon, Ariza, Carl Landry and Emeka Oakafor. There loaded bench would feature Willie Green, Marco Bellenlli, Quicy Pondexter, Amuinu, Kaman and Jason Smith.
