Mixed Player Issue

The Nets are really pushing for super star C Dwight Howard. Fans of this big man know him as DH12 . He is on pace to be one of the best defenders in NBA history, with one more defensive player of the year he ties Ben Wallace (36 years old) and Diekembe Mutombo (retired) at 4. Please note that he is just 24 and it took Wallace and Mutombo there entire careers (Mutombo played until age 41 and Walace can play a couple more years) I also want to note that the NBA defensive player award was NOT in place during, Hakeems career or Bill Russel’s. As for Rondo he is linked with 3 teams and I doubt he will play another game as a Celtic. Celtic GM Danny Ainge is one source of these rumors and appears to favour CP3 (Chris Paul) the other teams already have good PG’s in Darren Collison and Russel Westbrook. If he is traded the Celtics will get (hopefully) a better shooting PG who must be covered because veterans Paul pierce and K.G can’t deal with all game doubles. Ray Allen is also being slowed by Doubles. Next up Terrel Owens appears to be in line to sign a contract with the pats. If he does he will accept a fly pattern or randy moss like game, of course this is just a guess. He was once a top eagle but now he if a aging F/A recovering from a ACL tear. Another WR named Sidney Rice is out with a concussion. This piece of info was out there quicker than Sports Center!!!! He will not play again and this injury adds to the extensive list of injuries he has. He has hurt his hammy and when he was in Minny he refused to work out. He used to be a a George Fav but now (after he killed my fantasy team) I think he is washed up at age 25. As for the phillies they lost 1B Ryan Howard with a achilles injury and he will miss a few weeks to a month or two. The phillies then turned around and picked up Ty wigging ton from the Rockies for a player to be named and cash. The other MLB F/A’s are Roy Oswalt, Jimmy Rollins, David Dejeus and Jose Reyes. Oswalt was NOT given a contract offer from phillies so he will walk. He is good but showed his age (34) and was disappointing. Rollins wants a five year extension but I doubt he will except the phillies offer. They refuse to give the 33 year old a long term contract. Rollins is a elite SS. David Dejeus is restarting his career in Chicago. As a Cub he will be given a chance to show his offensive fire power. Another MLB trade occurred. Jason Jaso was traded to the Mariners for John Lueke and Cash. The Rays will continue to be a good pitching team. Adam Kennedy signed a contract with the mariners as well. Some reporters believe that Matt Garza and the Sox are a good fit so don’t be surprised if that happens. More on the Sox they finally found a coach and only took a couple weeks but it seemed like much longer. Papelbon is gone but Bobby Valentine is in. Do you think this was a good move?
