NBA Rumors
The most well known of the NBA rumors may be the Monta Ellis for Rudy Gay trade. Both teams could use a upgrade at the respective positions but in fact the Warriors couldn’t take on Gays contract so it won’t occur. Note that Jerry West (a manger for the Warriors) drafted Rudy Gay when he was a Memphis Manager. But the Most breaking stories are those that say CP3 (Chris Paul) will NOT return to NO but wants a trade to NY. Also D-Will (Deron Williams) will NOT sign with the Nets. They traded theyer future for him and remain a none playoff team. Another Rumor is that Joel Pryzbilla is retiring I doubt he will as both the Bucks and blazers have interest in him. He is an aging C. In more Buck news Drew Gooden is feeling great, and they are targeting to re-sign Ersan Illyasova. They also want to re-sign Luc Mbah a moute. A ex-Buck to be in Michael Redd is drawing interest from the Heat, Celtics and Knicks. He has missed most of the last few seasons with injuries to his ACL and MCL. The Knicks are desperately trying to snag a SG and C as Landry Fields fell apart in the post season and Turiaff is fragile. The Bulls, Hornets and other teams are eyeing Wizard guard Nick Young but the wizards say that he is there first priority. With a backcourt that 2 years ago featured Caron Butler, Gilbert Arenas, Jarvais Crittieton, Deshawn Stevenson and young it now features John Wall, Jordan Crawford, Nick Young and is considered one of the best young Backcourts. Speaking of Caron Butler, He is interested in both Chicago and LAC and both destinations have interest in him. The Clippers and Grizzlies both want to re-sign there starting Centers in DeAndre Jordan (LAC) and Marc Gasol (MEM). The Celtics have interest in Laker Shannon Brown. Brown is a F/A who has played on the Cavs (2007-08) and Lakers (2009-present). The Celtics Owner Danny Ainge also said today he denies wanting to trade Rondo but I think this is just a cover up for failing to trade him. Along with Redd the Celtics are targeting Allen Iverson, Chuck Hayes, Carl Landry and they also have been linked to Specer Hawes and Jammal Crawford. I predict that AI, Hayes, Landry and a SG named Jason “J-Rich” Richardson to be Celtics. I don’t think the Celts can afford higher deserving centers Tyson Chandler and Samuel Dalembert but those could fall into place. If AI makes a comeback it seems logical it will be as a scoring recerve on a contender, which Boston is, I Also think Hayes and Landry will help us fill in our front court with Glen Davis, Jermaine Oniel, K.G and Jaaun Johnson. There back court will likely be put to gether with Ray Allen, Rondo and Bradley a sure thing. Both Delonte West and Marquis Daniels should re-sign. I also expect Jason Richardson and AI to join this team. Von Wafer could leave, that would be a shame, but with out him we would have more roster spots. Most people expect the Maverick Center Tyson Chandler to leave Dallas which would make Haywood the starter but he could be cut by the Amnesty clause. In amnesty clause news the Blazers GM said today that Brandon Roy is not a lock to be waived this also goes for Wizard SF RaShard Lewis.
