Question: Would the C’s Call Big Dwight?
As many of you know, recently the Orlando Magic’s (Superman) center Dwight Howard said that if the Celtics call this off season, he would answer the phone. It is speculated that he wants to play with a team that has a chance to win a championship. Well we know the answer to the question. If Howard is not traded by this season, The Celtics big boss Danny Ainge will most certainly make the call.
The Celtics will have plenty of money to spend this off season and should have room for potentially two max contract players. Well, while most of us true Celtic fans hope this scenario plays out, if Howard does choose another team in the offseason, he could stand to lose around $30 million, since the collective bargaining agreement allows Orlando (the team that drafted him) to offer him more money than any other team. It should be very interesting heading towards the March trade deadline.Well Celtic fans…we can dream
