Ok first breaking news and my article on this off season:
Kevin Garnett Says he will resign with the celtics for a 3 year 34 million dollar contract. This is less than what the Nets were offering (3 years 45 million) but both KG and the cletics are happy. Also in basketball the Miami heat said that they will make Ray Allen thier Big target of the off season. The celtics are going to offer a two year 6 million, a year contract which is double that of what the heat will and can offer. However the celtics have allens bird rights and can offer more money than any team. The Celktics have also stated they are interested in Josh Howard/ Reshard Lewis/ O.J Mayo and C.J Watson according to multiple sources. Jason Terry has also been linked to this team. Jeff Green who is coming off a Heart Aorta stated that he wants to return to boston. Marcus Camby, a longtime elite NBA defender is also intrested in boston as a landing destenation. He also said he is intrested in Houston and Miami. In minor news the rockets said they have intrest in Omer Asik not really in Marcus Camby. The Trailblazers have suppusbly agreed verbally with center Roy Hibbert on a deal worth about 15 million a year for 4 years, which the pacers will have to match to resign their future all star. Nicholas Batum and the Timber Wolves has been in serious contract talks as well. Batum was a decent starter and bench player for the trail blazers last season. Dwight Howard also says he wants out of orlando. The raptors have offered Steve Nash a three year 14 million dollar deal. The Suns and Raptors will battle it out as Nash choses whether to sign with NY or Miami (for a ring), Phoenix (money) or Toronto (Home country) It is unclear which Nash will chose. And yes the Clippers traded Mo Williams to the Jazz who give their trade exception tto the Mavericks who sent Lamar Odom to the Clippers. Also in minor News the Cavs have verbally agreed in a 3 year contract with UDFA Kevin Jones. Another UDFA is Ukrainian Center Vyacheslav Kravtsov who is gaining intrest from the Pistons. Nenad Kristic and AK-47 both say they will return to NBA. The Nets are AK-47's most likley destenation. In more trade news Josh Smith would like a trade. It could be the beginning of the end for the Hawks big three as Horford had a injury, Smith wants a trade and Joe (Johnson) may ( have been) be traded. Deron Williams will meet with the Nets and Maviericks (the presummed finalists) before deciding which team he'll sign with. Williams is suspected to resign with the Nets for the Max. So far in free agency every thing is wieghing on Deron Williasm descion. The Nets will sign Andrei Kirleinko, C.J Miles and Gerald Wallace to help keep D- Will. They also have traded Jordan Farmar, Johan Petrp and a protected first round pick to the Hawks for Joe Johnson's Mega contract/ Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez and Gerald Wallace give D- Will an all star cast while veterans Nenad Kristic, AK- 47 and C.J Miles would support the team. The Nets are also intrested in signing Mirza Teletovic, who is a 6'9 UDFA. He is going to be a covetted F/A this off season.
