How will Oden hold up?

In 2008 the Portland trailblazers made one of the most expected moves in NBA history drafting the dominate college big, Greg Oden, with the first pick.  His only comparison was Bill Walton, a 1 time NBA MVP and 1 time Sixth man of the year.    Oden was to change the NBA.   However 4 years later Oden was forced to retire due to chronic injuries in his feet similar to Walton, Yao Ming and Sam Bowie.   The Trailblazers now appear to be a rebuilding team since Brandon Roy has retired (a 4 time all-star by age 26) and Oden's abrupt retirement.  Many claim that the Blazers should've picked Kevin Durant now a 5 time all-star in 6 years and a 1 time scoring champ.   Yeah of course the blazers would've but no one predicted Oden's career to turn this sour so quickly.  Since his retirement the Cavilers and multiple other teams including the Hawks, Hornets and Celtics have inquired into his services but just recently he signed a 1 year deal with the NBA champions Miami Heat.  So let the question be asked, How well can Oden Hold up.
